I got a new tablet. It's another hand-me-down, but this time it's from my boyfriend instead of from my little sister. Wacom Intuos 3 - sweet sweet stuff. Took me a while to get used to using it, as I think this picture shows (the coloring is so... weird...), but now that I've belted out a few drawings with it, I'm really starting to like using it. I really appreciate the slightly larger size, although I think it's a bit too early to tell whether it's going to have a significant impact on my drawings.
Anyway, just a quick little picture of myself getting annoyed at some of the later levels in Yoshi's Island DS. I love the game, but some parts are ridiculously difficult for me. D: Oh well. It's all good. I'm having too much fun with Phantom Hourglass to worry about much else right now. :]
Oh yeah. I've been forcing to draw myself with longer/fluffier hair, since I haven't had such short hair in years. It's taking me a while to get used to drawing myself like that, but I think I kind of like it. Maybe my 'self portraits' will start to evolve to the longer haired version?
Uwaaaa, I STILL don't have a tablet! *begins tearing hair out*
That aside, it is hard to change your avatar, isn't it? I'll look in the mirror one day and realize, "Oh, crap, I've been drawing myself with hair about half as short as it really is."

It's so hard! I've been drawing myself more or less the same way for, um, five or six or seven years or so? Since I'm so used to drawing myself like that, it's difficult to change!

As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.

Yeah, I totally fail at video games - it's so sad. The new Legend of Zelda DS game is hot stuff, though. o 3o
