This is from a few days ago.... but yeah. I decided to make another attempt at coloring in OpenCanvas. I decided that while I love the colors, I really don't like working with the tools. Some of the keyboard shortcuts are really stupid and... insufficient. I couldn't save either. D: I was using a trial version of version 4 or something though, so that probably had something to do with it.
I didn't know where to find a more recent version of OC, so I tried reinstalling Painter. And that program is still a bitch to use, plus I really just wanted to use OC for the lovely addition layer. Turns out I can pretty much do the same by dodging highlights in Photoshop, so maybe I'll just stick with that? I do like how this piece came out though. *sigh*
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
